What is the future of Inter board???
The proposal to introduce a common syllabus for Classes XI and XII, and a common entrance exam for engineering, medical and commerce courses for the entire country has not gone down well with either the students, colleges in the Andhra Pradesh. The new proposal of common syllabus for Classes XI and XII will save students the trouble of appearing for multiple entrance exams. But students worry that a common test will allow their counterparts from other states to increase the competition. Students argue that though multiple tests are give more options in the selection of colleges. Andhra Pradesh has the largest number of professional courses in the country and local students benefit from this. In AP, the government allots professional seats to SC/ST students even if they secure zero marks in the Eamcet. The big question therefore is what will happen if they are brought on the common national platform? Without addressing all issues, conducting a National-level common test is not possible???
