Govt. of AP decided to change the Syllabus for the classes 7th & 9th in 2011-12, 8th & 10th in 2012-13. As per SCERT the proposed syllubus as follows:

Chemistry
Biology
9. Social Studies:
- Classes VI to X Economics Final
- Classes VI to X History Final
- Classes VI to X Geography- Final
- Classes VI to X Civics- Final
